Another lovely publication to feature some of my work. Contemporary Artist Magazine is an online art publication from Creative Coverage. My work is on page 14.
Unfortunately since Covid-19 has closed everything, our planned exhibition for August this year, as part of Year of Coasts and Waters, has been postponed until next year. Brian and I look forward to welcoming as many of you as possible to Glen Scotia Distillery in Campbeltown - watch this space for new dates.
Through the Blank Wall Gallery who organise the Chania International Photography Festivals I've had an image selected for this years 3rd Chania Festival. My Monchrome Waves is going to be hanging there in August.
Spotlight Magazine Issue 21
My work is featured in this edition of Spotlight Magazine alongside the work of some other wonderful artists from around the globe.
Pr and Media Representation
Since 2015 I've been represented by Tim and Caroline Saunders at Creative Coverage. They have introduced me to galleries and commission opportunities and sent out press releases for every little achievement. They take away one of the jobs that artists are inherently bad at...networking! I wouldn't be where I am today without their help and guidance.
I have a very limited number of images for sale through the Saatchi Art Gallery online. They are one of the most popular online marketplaces for art of all kinds and I'm lucky enough to be included in their portfolio.
Circle Foundation for the Arts
Way back when the world was pre-covid I was invited to join this prestigious European Foundation. I spent lockdown trying to decide what photographs to send them for my first submission and last week sent them some of the images that were to have been part of our postponed 'sea//shore' exhibition at Glen Scotia. I am so thrilled to have been selected and hope this will now mean my work is seen over Europe too!
Thanks to a press release from Creative Coverage, I was invited to be the featured artist in Art Mag edition 118 in June this year.
This year I was highly commended in the Monoawards with this image. "Webart" was taken late one evening as the sun caught the intricate web strung between the leaves on an acer.
I have recently joined the Art Map Argyll collective. Artmap Argyll is a social enterprise company that formed as a membership network of artists to promote and connect the artists of Argyll. I'm looking forward to planning an exhibition next year during the annual Open Studios event.
I've been exhibiting at the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens since 2017. They are fantastic champions of photographers world wide and have a wonderful space in the centre of Athens. This image is the latest of my submissions and is part of their first ever Virtual 3D exhibition - Best Shot.
